Kyleigh could feel the slight disappointment inside of her as he stopped the letter opener from ending his worthless life, gripping her wand tighter. "Well, whether classes have started or not, we still need to see her." She walked a little bit closer to him, Audrina slightly behind her. "And no, we would have never thought of that. I mean, it's not like we were just there or anything." The lie flowed more as sarcasm, hiding it's lack of truth.

"Well then by the sound of it, Professor Marlow is busy as well, preparing for the new year." As Marvolo spoke, it was slowly becoming obvious his patience for them was growing thin and fine.
"If there's a message I can deliver to either Morgana or Elan, I'd be happy to, but if not, you two are just going to have to wait for a more opportune moment, understood?"
He still held his wand loosely at his side, and had narrowed his eyes at Ky when she stepped nearer, though would still not budge from being in their way.
"Merlin, when I was your age, I at least had the morality to respect my teachers, but clearly that's something that's been lost over the ages. Pity." Marvolo muttered to himself, though loud enough for them to hear.

"It doesn't matter, this is urgent. Besides, she's cool, she'll have time for us." Audrina smiply smiled, telling him without telling him that he seriously needed to get a life.
She looked at him with a sneer on her lips. "Fine. We'll go find Chloe. She loves me, and she'll know where Professor Marlow is."
Audrina didn't restrain her best friend, although every single one of her instints for self-preservation told her to do so. Marvolo was an ass, but that didn't mean he wasn't dangerous, and frankly, she knew Kyleigh could no more lie then a turtle could. and turtles can't talk.
Audrina smiled sweetly. "I don't think so. Mother said you were just as much of an ass to the teachers then as you are now."
With this last, dangerous pronouncement, she grabbed Kyleighs arm, and dragged her away. Audrina was not in the mood to die, and she was sure Kleigh wanted revenge before she died either.

Kyleigh allowed Audrina to drag her with her, stubbornly turning her back on Marvolo as she followed her best friend. When they were out of sight, Kyleigh simply flicked her wand, muttering a simple 'Muffliato' before speaking. "What the hell are you doing Audri? You're going to get yourself killed if you keep hanging around me like this, and I really don't need to lose another close one." She hugged her friend tightly, looking deeply into her eyes. "I've got to take care of things with Marv, just me and him." She stepped back from her friend slightly. "That means without you. I won't chance it."

Audrina's jaw tightened. "You. Are. My. Best. Friend. There is no getting around that, Ky." She let a smirk twist her lips. "Besides, either way, any side I choose, I die. Frankly, I don't think it matters all that much."
Audrina pouted at Kyleigh for a moment, only to realize that Kyleigh wasn't joking. "You're not kidding, are you. Damn."
And then she had to watch her best friend turn her back, and run off into the night. Audrina clenched her fists at her side, determined to not let it get to her. School would be starting in a bit, and Ky would be back.
This wasn't the end of this friendship. Audrina wouldn't let it be the end.
