Blaise tilted his chair back on two legs, and put his feet up on the desk. He knew it annoyed Prof Sybrant beyond anything, but it really didn't matter. An annoyed Link Sybrant was always funny, and often worth the pain the man could inflict.
It was to be a... special class, Blaise supposed, what with the Slytherins and the Gryffindors disliking each other so much.
The rest of the seventh-year Slytherins seemed just as rambuncous as he himself felt. There was something in the magically-charged air that had every person under 20 in the room seething with energy.
And, of course, there were the usual insults and mockery being thrown from Gryffindor to Slytherin and back to Gryffindor.
Distasteful people...

Link whacked Blaise in the back of the head, his deliberate insubordination annoying him. "Mr. Zabini, fifteen points from Slytherin. You have been told time and time again that your desk is not a foot stool." He turned his back on the student, sitting at his desk. The whole time, Link maintained his calm and cool air, not letting an emotion pass by his face. He had grown quite good at this, and it always drove his students insane, especially Blaise.
"Today we will learn how to change oneself into another creature. Said creature is typically your Patronus, for the same reasons. Now, you don't have to be an animagus to be able to transfigure, but it is easier." He took two steps towards Blaise, transfiguring into a large Lion, one that resembled Aslan from The Chronicles of Narnia. He then changed back, keeping his eyes on Blaise. "Mr. Zabini. Since you so love to be the center of attention, why don't you make an attempt yourself?"
Link knew this would put Blaise in his place. He was the worst transfiguration student out of all of his classes, and he knew he wouldn't be able to turn himself into an animal, especially in front of all of his classmates. "We're waiting, Mr. Zabini."
