Kyleigh walked out into the forbidden forest, a thin white robe wrapped around her, the hood up over her head. Her golden blond hair shined under the moon's rays, glowing with innocence. "I can feel your darkness, I know you have a helper nearby. I know this is all your fault. It'll just take me figuring out who it is." She fought back the tears in her eyes as she flashed back to watching Voleurdevie murder her parents. She dug her fingernails into her palm, drawing the smallest bit of blood. "You will pay for this...and so will your helper."

"Students," came a deep voice from behind her, "Are not allowed in this forest, especially not at night." He spoke firmly, and in a tone that would sedn a chill down the spine of even the mos frightening beast.
He then stepped out in front of her, his eyes looking into her and he stood in her way.

Ky pulled her want out out of instinct. "Expelli..." She stopped, dropping her wand to the ground. "Oh...it's you..." Kyleigh folded her arms across her chest, a discontented stare etched into her face. She had never liked him very much, always feeling a weird aura around him. "I can go out into the forest whenever I please. You know the Headmaster won't do anything about it, either. So, just go ahead and let me past. You think I'm going to suffer from one of the forbidden curses? Like I care." Her crystal blue eyes showed her pain, angry that he had interrupted her while she was remembering what Voleurdevie had done to her parents.

"Just because the Headmaster has a morally questionable affinity for you does not make you the school's princess. The same rules apply to you as they do everyone else," Marvolo growled.
"Now don't be so vain as to believe I truly care if a curse or creature got you, but the trouble it would cause with the Ministry is trouble that Elan does not need right now, understood?"
"So, 50 points from Ravenclaw for this act alone. Care to push it?"

Ky rolled her eyes, knowing he was only using this as an excuse to get his House, Slytherin, ahead in the House Cup, even if they were in dead last. "Do you know how my parents were killed? Hmm?" She stepped closer to him, angered by how he was treating her. "My parents were tortured by Voleurdevie for hours upon hours, until he finally took 'mercy' and killed them. As a child, I watched two of the Unforgivable Curses performed before my very eyes. Most people my age don't even know what they are." She turned, facing the school once again. "So, please excuse me for not being afraid of the forest."

"I did already know that," Marvolo replied. "Yet you make the mistake of thinking I care about your sob story. If you honestly think you're the only one on this world who's suffered, than you're a bigger idiot than I thought."
While he spoke, his hand slowly, subconsciously wrapped itself around his wand, though hers still laid on the ground.
"If the other students aren't aware of all the Unforgivable Curses, including the new forth one, than that's failure spewing from your current DADA teacher."
"...What I'm trying to say is: suck it up, and get your ass back to bed," he said without humour anywhere in his voice. He didn't like her in the slightest, but not only because she was being a melodramatic queen.

Kyleigh raised a brow, not impressed with what he was saying, her wand still lying on the ground. "No, I'm not the only one who's suffered, but I still hurt." She turned back to face him defiantly. "And if I'm not mistaken, the Headmaster was there being tortured along with my parents. He understands the pain. If you said this to him, I doubt you'd get a very good response." She didn't notice him grabbing for his wand, too caught up in her anger to pay attention to his actions.

"Yes, but the difference is Elan's moved past it," he said.
Having better things to do, and getting both bored and annoyed with her already, in one quick movement, he'd pulled out his wand and given it a quick flick.
She immediately fell asleep and went limp. Marvolo didn't both catching her before she hit the ground, but once she was there he waved his wand again and she began to hover in the air, as did her wand. Marvolo then took her wand into his hand.
The next morning, she'd awake untouched in her bed, wand at her bedside table.

Kyleigh woke slowly, feeling a bit of a lump on the back of her head. It took her a moment to realize what had just transpired, but when she did, anger boiled within her. "I hate that man..." She stood up, removing her white robe that she had been wearing last night. She changed into casual clothing, not wanting to wear her school robes until school started.
She needed to speak to Elan about what happened last night. He needed to hear it from him first and not Marvolo, or he would not be pleased. But first, she was going to find Marvolo. He wasn't supposed to use magic on students outside of class, and he knew that.

As Marvolo briskly rounded a corner, he had to stop abruptly as to not run into Kyleigh.
"Oh good, you're awake," he said dryly with unamusement as he saw her.

Ky gripped her wand angrily, staring into his eyes deeply, her crystal blues seeming to glow. "You crossed the line. You aren't allowed to use magic on students." She took a step closer to him defiantly, angered that he was willing to break one of the more important rules at the school. What else was he willing to break? "The Headmaster wont be pleased if I tell him of this, now will he?" Her tone was sharp, as she raised a brow, waiting for his 'clever' method for getting out of this one.
He knew she was a powerful witch and that she wasn't to be put past using magic against anyone who threatened her. She had made sure that he had this knowledge from the moment they first met. She never liked him. Not. One. Bit. ((Sorry, reading Joker quotes XD))

((It's okay, when watching part of it today and heard that line I thought of this XD))
"That's fine, go ahead and tell Sybrant," Marvolo replied with non-chalance. "I can justify my actions by merely saying you were out in the Forbidden Forest. I gave you fair warning to leave, but after disobeying and trying to undermine my authority, it was in your best interest to get you out of the forest as quickly as possible," he defended easily.
Marvolo glanced down at her risen wand, and said, "Now, if you're threatening me, a teacher meant to be held in respect, then that's going to be far more looked down upon than my quick little spell."
"So... unless you plan to lie to him, why bother telling the Headmaster at all? Obviously he trusts my word above yours, otherwise I wouldn't still be here, I'd imagine."

Ky shook her head, laughing slightly. She was amused by his threats. "The Headmaster trusts me, but you being a teacher, and me being a student, he has to investigate, rather than just jump in when it comes to you." She let her wand down a little, not wanting to be standing there to threaten him. "Marvolo," She smiled as she used his first name, knowing it enraged him. He couldn't do anything about it as long as school was in session. "You and I both know your allegiance has been in question, while mine hasn't. You have to be careful what you do and what you say, because you just might be taking a trip to Azkaban. I wont."

Her audacity and disrespect was truly uncomprehensible. Not to mention he had so many more important things he could be doing with himself!
Without a word, yet, Marvolo turned on his heel and began to walk at a quick enough pace. When he finally did speak though, to her as she chased after him, his words were slow, icy, and annoyed.
"Only one person knowing who I'm truly loyal to is what keeps me alive, missy," he spat. "And I've seen Azkaban. It's hellish, but nothing compared to what it used to be in the day they used dementors. If I was ever sent, it might actually be a nice vacation."
He continued walking briskly in front of her, eventually walking right out the front door. The bright morning light and thick summer air made him grimace, but continued on.

Kyleigh followed after him, her pale white shirt clinging to her body as she quickened her pace. "Then I guess you wont mind when I tell him all you've done; your insubordination, your threats." She walked out the doors behind him, standing in the fresh air, the bright sun shining down onto her hair. "You'll be forgotten. And whoever you've pledged your allegiance to will abandon you. You'll be all alone."
Her temper was getting the best of her, but she felt she was doing good just to not be using any magic. In fact, she hadn't physically harmed him up to this point, something she was proud of. "So, what's your clever plan to get out of this one, hmm?"
